The magician displays a six inch length of rope and discusses what you could do with a piece of rope that size. Not much is the obvious answer. Now the magician visibly stretches the six inch piece of rope into Six Feet of rope! The rope is then cut into two seperate pieces by the razor sharp fingers of the magician. The two pieces are tied together and the rope is shown to be whole again!

You can have the knot pop off or just disappear. Instructions for the routine with both endings is provided.
