The Coloring Book of Magic is first shown to have all blank pages. OOOps, that won't do. This is a coloring book. It needs pictures. The magician gives a magical pass and then flips through the pages to reveal that they are full of black and white pictures. But wait, this is a COLORING book. What we need now is some color. Colors can be picked from the clothes the spectators are wearing or from different objects around the room and dropped onto the coloring book (or from a box of vanishing colored crayons/markers). Now when the magician gives a magical pass over the book and flips through the pages again, all the pictures are seen to be colored!
